1893 Columbian Issue -- 4c blue Fleet of Columbus Error of Color mint hinged single. A beautiful appearing example of this rare error of color -- produced from a small printing run of the 4c Columbian intended for an ultramarine ink, but instead, the blue ink of the 1c Columbian Issue was used. Most copies of this error are off center and have faults -- this stamp is completely sound.
