1869 Pictorial Issue 15c Landing of Columbus Type II 1903 Roosevelt Album Small Die Proof on white wove paper affixed to the original album gray card backing. Only 85 Roosevelt Presentation Albums were produced by the Bureau of Engraving & Printing. They were composed of small die proofs of all American postage stamps issued up to 1903 and presented to various government officials. Several albums are still intact, but most have been turned into singles or full pages from the albums. The Roosevelt Small Die Proofs are among the most beautiful American proofs available with at most only 85 of each issue known!
