1852 1c Franklin Type IV Single on 1853 Printed Circular

1852 1c blue Franklin Type IV single tied by black New Orleans circular date stamp cancel. On an elaborate New Orleans Wholesaler’s prices current printed circular for May 13, 1853, sent to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  The stamp, exhibiting fine to very fine margins and sharp color, combined with the very fine 1850s printed circular, make this a particularly nice example of the 1-cent printed circular rate.
