1850-53 3c Washington Stamp & 1c Blood's Local on Cover to New York

1850-53 3c dull red Washington single. Tied by blue January 3, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, circular date stamp cancel on cover with acid tied 1c Blood's local stamp to New York City. Blood's date stamp cancel at top left below manuscript instructions to "Please deliver immediately." The Blood's local indicates the cover was picked up in Philadelphia and dropped off at the city post office. The 3c stamp, canceled at the post office, paid the postage for the cover's transit to New York City. The 3c stamp is slightly oxidized, not detracting in the least from this very fine inter-city usage incorporating a Federal postage stamp and the Blood's local post adhesive.
