1875 90c Washington Re-Issue Mint Hinged Single

1875 90c blue Washington Re-Issue mint hinged original gum single exhibiting bold color on bright paper and in completely sound condition. The 1861-66 Issues were reprinted in 1875 without grills on hard white paper and with white crackly gum. These stamps were sold for only a short period of time and the 90c had the fewest sold to the public, 317. Only a small fraction of the remaining examples of the 90c Re-Issue stamps remain in sound condition with their original gum like the one offered here. A very fine example of the 90c Re-Issue stamp.
